REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
To apply for this scholarship you must be ages 18-26 and enrolled in either a collegiate, technical, or vocational program
STEP 1: Write 1-2-page paper addressing/ answering the following questions:

What is YOUR story?

How has it changed your life?
-
What steps are you taking now towards betterment and happiness?
-
What do you need to push yourself further towards success?

Why do you want this scholarship?
-
What will you with the scholarship?
STEP 2: Write 1-page paper addressing/ answering the following questions:

What are your goals for the next year?
-
What are some plans to get to them?
-
What are you passionate about?
-
How will this scholarship help you reach your goals and passions?
STEP 3
Provide a letter of recommendation
STEP 4
Submit a clear picture of yourself
STEP 5
Email entire application to email listed on bottom of page. You'll receive an automated response letting you know if the application has been received.
NOW WHAT?
REVIEW OF APPLICATION:

ALL applicants considered

The board of directors will read and discuss application

Clarity of papers, well written, and obvious thought put into it, all go into consideration.
SELECTION OF APPLICANTS:

Each applicant that is selected will receive the same monetary amount

1-3 applicants selected
AWARDING PROCESS FOR THOSE SELECTED

Participant will know via email if they did receive the scholarship.

Participant will also receive a phone call from the director of scholarships and the president.

Story will have opportunity to be published and talked about (only IF the participant would like)

Participant will have access to SBC program and may become an on-campus representative of the program

Cannot re-apply for scholarship
PROCESS FOR THOSE NOT SELECTED:

Participant will know via email if they did not receive the scholarship.

May be eligible to reapply for scholarship.
